Just ok I like the options for offline maps which come in very useful when in remote locations and in various countries where you might not want your data switched on. However the interface is extremely complicated as well as the menus. It's not quick or easy to use, would be nice to modernise it and remain detailed instead of the labyrinth you have to go through to use it now. Zoom could be more detailed too.
Only sore spot is lack of Google hybrid Oruxmaps was forced to remove a few map sources a few versions back, including Google satellite and hybrid. Offline Google maps made this app stand out even further. What is not well known is that you can modify your onlinemapsources.xml file to get it back. (And I decreased to 4 stars because it has been crashing lately.)
50 million features and it partly uses symbols instead of text.. And still with all those features it can't distinguish between start and finish and way points when using a gpx file and there is no way to disable way points. It does seem to have turn by turn navigation but I haven't tried that feature. I guess the search continues for a simple gpx viewer WITH turn by turn navigation
Great in the wild I rarely use GPS, relying mostly on the old-school map/compass/altimeter triad, but it is definitely helpful in some situations. The thing I like the most is that it is VERY customizable.
Tried to like I install the product into a Motorola Nexus 6. There so many deficiencies I do not know where to start. My biggest interest is offline topo maps. The largest Zoom, approximately 3 miles across my Nexus 6 screen is not detailed enough and zooming in closer gray's out the screen. I tried using Mobiac to make a map and bring it to my Nexus 6, which is very clumsy due to limitations of exporting from Dropbox to my Nexus 6. I will just stick with Google Maps and Maps. Me. I might check again in a few months.
One of the best maps povider, tracker, very customisable. Little bug: GPS tracking won't work if GPS sensor is already on before opening the app., we can switch the sensor off&on again in the app though.
