Created by the Mindo Cloudforest Foundation, an organization dedicated to the conservation of nature and landscapes of the northwestern province of Pichincha and the Chocó-Andes Corridor, with special emphasis on forest habitats and birds through the adoption of alternative economic development models and efficient, especially bird tourism, which involves and benefits the local population and their leaders.
