App has great content and variety. Quality can be patchy - Much of the content gets cut off, sometimes mid-sentence, in both the news reports and the podcasts. Can be very frustrating.

Would be great if the audio didn't cut off and skip around to the point of being unlistenable. I'll be listening to a podcast and it's great, until a few minutes in or even an hour in, when the audio starts skipping and get jumbled and repeats itself. This happens 9/10 times. Really disappointing. Is there anyway I can fix this? I'm on a three day long roadtrip and it's been very disappointing to not be able to listen to the podcast episodes I've downloaded. Hopefully I'll get a response by the time I'm on the road back home.

User should be able to select sources for information, not be fed strictly according to app/creator's selections. Also, specified choices available aren't adhered to, other content plays instead. Sometimes, no news is offered at all. Feedback field sometimes doesn't allow text to be entered.

While the app functions well and the content seems good Push notifications (with notifications off) and background running is totally unacceptable to me. The app is to bright at night or early morning as well. It needs a dark setting.
Really like how I can taylor the amount of news I want to get by changing time constraints from 15, 30,45 or an hour. I get a random selection based on what I like without having to spend hours searching for info. Plus if I rate type of info I like. This keeps me informed depending on time I have.
Some podcasts not available. When you leave the app you dont continue listening from the same place ans i have yet to listen to a full stream without being corrupted with 1/4 podcast remaining. Will be great once sorted
I know news are related to old people but twenty's something people likes to hear news too you know ? Maybe more youngest voices will help
News has not been working for the past week... Tells me I am all caught up. Even after reinstalling app.

Hi Logan. Really sorry you feel scammed. Certainly that's not our intention and it sounds like you were expecting something you didn't get. Can you let us know where we failed to set your expectations? Thank you. Umano had lifestyle podcasts eg lifehack....otto does not have such...I miss umano

It's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good better then other podcasts
Was interesting but I was only given suggestions from politically one sided biased mainstream legacy news agencies. Lack of independent or opposite politically leaning news sources to choose from makes this a great propaganda tool for one political party but useless to anyone seeking independent reporting for only news facts or various opinions. In that respect, which is a really critical point to consider, this app is a total failure.
This is a great way to listen to a customized news and podcast feed after the demise of Umano and The Social Radio

Very easy to set up. You can try it without signing up first!! I like that you can download content so you don't have to waste data or if you flat out don't have data. I haven't traveled with it yet to test this feature fully. You can have the app curate a list for you based on your commute or pick stuff yourself. Oh and the podcast still plays even if your using another app. You can pause/play it from your notifications menu. I honestly only downloaded this app to earn points for a different app and this will be the first app I actually keep and use. Great job so far devs.
I came to know of this because of an email I received from the erstwhile Umano. I can say Otto Radio has a long way to go to match what Umano used to offer. Content on Otto is very limited. All I get is US-based news, which are of little or no relevance to me - be it business news, politics news or technology news. I hope you guys would include more India-based content (and content from other geographies for respective users).
For LG G Stylo and 2 Other Devices. I was disappointed when Umano was bought out; and NB ( Newsbeat ) was the only app I had. While Otto Radio may not have much of Umano, the spirit of it and it's potential will prove successful. To that end, I'm excited to have this app, and looking forward to using it. Welcome aboard Otto Radio. 👍.
I have been looking for this app since Umano was purchased. Great way to listen to broad categories of content. Warning: if you want to listen only to sources that support your point of view (political left or political right for example) you will be disappointed.
Great app. Not as good as Umano was but it's ok. Could use more content. Nice articles and news. Also, an easy way to prepare your own podcast before you commute.
You should focus less on USA or at least give the possibility to follow a favourite country news. Also add the possibility to remove some kind of articles that appear in the broadcast.
Very smooth and modern layout. I'm impressed with this app from the back as you get to hear short stories from a variety of sources based on your interests. And it actually works well! I'm happy to see that they're using a unique and Creative Design instead of the boring material design that most apps use. They may be using material design but they hide it well. There is so much content from so many different providers. My suggestion is, besides bugs please don't change too much because apps change way too often and we don't want to mess up a good thing :-)
Won't let you browse while you listen every time you flip through the channels it loads every single one. Yeah you have to listen to every stupid thing that appears on your screen and searching sucks.
