I've been playing a couple of days in my search for a mobile game to occupy downtime. Overall even though the production values are great with good character design and voice acting, the actual combat maps are incredibly boring and repetitive. The combat itself - attacks back and forth - is also pretty boring. The heroes you can recruit (that I've recruited so far) aren't great either.

GOOD: Great art direction (80% Darkest Dungeon, 20% Warcraft), surprisingly competent writing, cool setting, addictive gameplay in the style of final fantasy tactics. building a squad of killers is fun. BAD: there's just not enough. too few characters too few builds too few levels too few features and most of all too few enemies. Most of your upgrades feel meaningless, so progression doesn't feel good. tiny content spread extremely thin. insultingly high prices in the ingame shop.

Low effort, money hungry cash grab. I wanted to like this game, but WOW. This game is insanely punishing to new players. There is no incentive to play when you are shoved to the $$ shop every time you want to upgrade a character. The rates on anything over a Blue Grade character are insulting. I wish I could get a refund on the pulls I bought and only got green rarity characters. not to mention the pennies worth of log in "rewards" you get that amount to nothing.
