Hate this app. Was forced to switch to this from overdrive by Spartanburg SC Library. About 98% of the time I have to close and reopen the app several times to get it to work. It crashes more than it works. If I do finally manage to get into my book, it buffers for several minutes before popping up "An error was encountered while opening this audio book." If I finally manage to get into my book, it plays fine until I have to use another app, answer the phone or just pause it. Irritating!!

Fairly easy to use. Sometimes books don't show up, but when you search again it will be there. The genre search could use more specific types, as that would make searching much easier. Overall it's a pretty decent app. Edit: from 4 to 2 star, due to an issue with the books will now ONLY play when connected to wifi. When I try to use mobile data it says that there is a playback error and to try again. Please, please fix this bug.

I love the Libby app. I have borrowed so many ebooks and audio books from my library. The app always works seamlessly. You can download books so you can read or listen to them even when you don't have service, like on a plane. You can search for books by genre, by books available now, by popular books, etc. My only complaint is that some of the menus aren't very intuitive. For instance, it is hard to find your profile info or settings. Otherwise, it's amazing!

What's new
Fixed a downloading issue that caused audiobooks to skip, be missing content, or start playback in an unexpected place. If you have an affected audiobook, delete and re-download it after updating the app.
