Downloading, especially of magazines, is slow and unreliable. Can take ages and frequent stops and starts. Often fails entirely. Automatic downloading sometimes works sometimes doesn't. Can't download audiobook files to use on an mp3 player or burn to disc for use in older cars. You need to use Overdrive for that, but they're getting rid of Overdrive soon in favor of this terrible and confusing Libby App. Stupid.

Pretty good app. But the driving mode (I only use it with audiobooks) is difficult to use and downright dangerous. For example, if I finish a book while I'm driving, I have to go back two screens just to return the book, and then manipulate several more small commands to get to my shelf and start a new book. Consider redesigning the app or making a Driving Mode.

I've used both Libby and the older Overdrive app for years, both for e-books and audiobooks. Overdrive was more powerful and more intuitive for me, but Libby mostly works - unless it doesn't. My books frequently stop playing and I get a "Playback error - possibly related to your Internet connection." This tends to happen on the road when I'm out of cellular range, but having to pull over to (maybe) fix it is annoying, and I'm not going to try fumbling with my phone while riding a motorcycle!
