This app is a disappointment. Always harder to navigate than Overdrive. Then it started eating battery even when I wasn't using it — and setting it to go to sleep when not in use meant that it would randomly stop replay when in the background. Then it started logging me out regularly, requiring me to re-enter my library information almost weekly. I left it off my phone for months and decided to try downloading it again, and... It's not coming up with any options when I search for my library.

Amazing in concept, and also managed to do well on execution. Borrowing ebooks and audiobooks is easy and intuitive (once you're signed in to your library), the reading experience is smooth and easily adjusted (or there's always reading in another app, like Kindle, with a surprisingly smooth transition), and searching is straightforward. Overall, excellent experience, would 100% recommend to everyone and anyone.

Downloading, especially of magazines, is slow and unreliable. Can take ages and frequent stops and starts. Often fails entirely. Automatic downloading sometimes works sometimes doesn't. Can't download audiobook files to use on an mp3 player or burn to disc for use in older cars. You need to use Overdrive for that, but they're getting rid of Overdrive soon in favor of this terrible and confusing Libby App. Stupid.
