Review from A Google User
Pretty Good This is generally pretty handy - a smooth ebook reader that interfaces well with my library. All of the updates to far have been great improvements on a decent product.
Also has a tendency to freeze up and I am unable to pause or stop it except by turning off the phone. Has yet to achieve the polish of the Audible app, but the price of content offsets that somewhat.
No matter what I do, the app takes me to my bookshelf page. I can't see what's available, I end up in my bookshelf. Up until now it's been great. Please fix the problem! I've uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.
This may help someone.. I wasn't able to to add new books to my book shelf after their recent update... I ended up uninstalling the app and then logged onto their updated website on my laptop.. Afterwards, I reinstalled the Overdrive app on my phone and I was then able to add books to my bookshelf.
App is a mess. Only a back button when in account settings, but most important it won't let me authorize with overdrive account...Just gets stuck in an infinite loop. No help online, pretty bad.
Mostly this app is great. I give it 3 stars only for two things is lacks. First, I cannot rate the books I read, nor can I review them or read others reviews. Second, it does not recommend books to me based on my ratings. Wish this would change. Otherwise, a wonderful app.
New update is very slow. Also settings is now difficult to get to along with the renew book page. Used to be clean & simple... Now it's annoyingly slow
Added Korean language support.
Minor bug fixes.
The app is now available in 15 additional languages.
