App used to be great enough that I paid to remove ads. For the last year or more it constantly nags to upgrade to a paid plan. I tolerated this, but the straw that broke the camel's back is that now it won't even scan your network more than once in a while without forcing an unknown "cooling down" period or paying for pro. what good is a network scanner if I can't scan my network, plug a new device in, and scan again to find what changed? canceling ad-free plan and finding an alternative.

I think it's time to ditch the app, from my latest experience as well as the last reviews, it's gotten to the point where it's better NOT to have the app installed (on the phone as well as the PC) than dealing with the latest 'improvements'. And while I'm at it, I'll throw out the FingBox as well.

I HATE this app for wanting my location so "it can distinguish zones". that is utter BS! and I don't mean BSS! Nobody needs to know my geolocation to scan for APs, unless you wanted to be able to find me physically based on a scan of my BSS beacons! Be careful about anything other than mapping software, that wants to know your geolocation!
