Overall I have enjoyed the app content. The two points of constructive criticism I would suggest are 1.) The recommended healthy recipes. I love to cook, bake and experiment with recipes however a lot of these recipes I would not prepare. They do not appear overly appetizing and there were several times I thought what exhausted pregnant woman is going to prepare this massive list of ingredients. I would recommend simplifying the recipes which I know you can do while keeping all the beneficial nutrients for fetal development. 2.) Also, I felt the daily pregnancy fact became redundant especially in the third trimester. I would recommend adding in some more pregnancy facts and info during the final weeks.
The "hand" feature is the best! I like how you can switch between different size themes so you're not always comparing baby to a piece of fruit. Great app, lots of options for data entry and keeping track of symptoms, appointments, belly pics, weight... Pretty much everything. The food guide is also very detailed. My go-to app, and haven't needed anything else!
Very fun and informative. Even the advertisements can be educational instead of being just about products. Love the baby size themes, but wouldn't mind if they added a couple more. One con, my app has been giving me the appointment descriptions weeks in advance. It brought up info on 38 week appointments when I haven't had my 36 week appointment yet. I get the reasoning behind it coming up early, but this is too early. Not a huge problem, but mildly annoying.
I love this app, I wake up to it, sleep to it, just always checking it. What is even more great is the community chat where you can talk to other mums who also have the app. They've helped me quite a bit, also we talk just about anything so some good ol' fun lol. The only thing I wish this app had was a section where you can filter questions so you can receive questions on 2nd trimester for example, instead of having to scroll through a load of questions. but I recommend this app. thanks ovia
I liked the little comparisons. Some were a little weird that I couldn't figure out how my kid related to it (height or weight or curled up ball shape?). Still fun to look at. My favorite parts were the weekly update and watching the hand fill out from the tiny dot it started out with. I also found the symptoms look up useful and the calendar with the pregnancy all planned out nice to have for future planning here and there throughout the pregnancy.
I'm a first time mom , unsure what to expect. This app has helped me to learn more then I could of possibly found on the Internet myself. The med and food look ups are amazing and to see my little baby's hand size makes it all that much more exciting.
