been using Tiny Cam Pro for years with four Foscam cameras. Recently added two Amcrest cameras and just couldnt figure out the port forwarding etc. Tried Owler and worked perfectly with all my ip cams. i do find the ptz control a bit bulky ie too large. But set up was automated and manages multi cameras easily. Runs fine on my DSL centurylink modem (am too far in country for cable internet) and despite running six cams from two different vendors the app is smooth
The UI is pretty decent, and it's relatively smooth. The issues I have keep me looking for a better camera app. Namely, my camera has a microphone so I can hear my baby wake up, and that isn't a feature I can use in the app. Second, the app frequently has lag, which means I'm getting a feed that's sometimes 5+ minutes old. I'm out on the app.
So far so good. I like that it has sound. Would like to be able to adjust the settings as far as picture brightness and contrast, etc. Happy with the new features. Motion sensor came in handy when maintenance showed up while I was away. Update: the motion sensor isn't working. Is there a fix?
Unable to type in my camera's login name and password. The keyboard just doesn't show up. Even when it does show up I can't type anything into the fields
Pretty good. Like it. My only issue is that my Foscam FI9826P has optical zoom, yet I can't see anyway to zoom without pinch to zoom which is digital. Please add this feature for cameras that support it. Thanks!
I have several Foscam and DLink cameras that work great. Even after Foscam updated their app it is still very poor in comparison to this. It's soon good I am now basing my choice of cameras on whether or not they are compatible with this app. Well done !
