Good but could be better I really like the idea of this app, and it's largely good at telling the BPM for my songs. However I am unable to use it for my running app because you have to use PaceDJ to play the songs. If it could save the songs as a playlist on my phone it would work for me. As it is, it's interesting but a bit useless for my needs. If you want to use it as a music player though it would work great for you
Don't waste your time downloading This app is completely unable to measure my steps per minute no matter where I put my phone when I run. It keeps puting me way above 300 bpm which is completely innaccurate as I run at about 160. Other apps I have since tried can measure my steps far more accurately. Will be uninstalling. Definately not recommended!
Nice idea... Just not quite ready to use I love the idea, but there are a few showstoppers: 1. It appears to never save the imported BPMs, so if I ever change the BPM I want to run at it has to import them all over again. 2. I'm pretty sure that some of the BPM data is just plain wrong. I realise that I can manually set it, but I have several GB of music on my phone and I don't want to interrupt my 5 or 10k to start futzing with it. Just get on and implement BPM shift on Android (seriously, who actually has different apps on different OS's?)
Could be good Good idea, poor execution. 1- Only searches for music files in select save locations on your phone. 2- doesn't continue playing when your screen goes to sleep. If someone can explain how to change that second function, I'd give this another star. As it stands it's pointless, and I wrote an article recommending this. If I can't figure out how to fix that issue, I have to adjust the article.
Aggressively MEH! It's "random" shuffle tends to follow the exact same pattern run after run, and it keeps telling me I need to remount my SD card - naturally it has to completely stop playing when it hits these errors rather than just skipping those songs. LOVE THAT when I'm running! Nothing like having to stop, pull my phone out of my pocket, unlock the screen, hit "okay," and restart the music mid-run. Other than that it's super.
Can'r get it to work I get to the part where it measures my pace and then it just stops. I can't find songs, just redo the pace measurement again. It forgets all the info it gathered every time I log out of the app. I really wanted this to work but I am still searching.... (S5, lollipop)
