Littered with bugs Well after a few hours of completing the different quizzes it transpired that it was all a complete waste of time. The app navigated well and seemed to do the job but did not save a single result. The app mentions clicking "done" which does not exist. I ended up completing all of the tests again on my computer. I was constantly prompted for login details and it required at least as much time navigating around the website as answering the quizzes themselves! Shocking app. Shocking website.
Useless I paid for the touch version of the open water elearning.. downloaded the app as advised in my confirmation email but it doesnt recognise my details and i can't log on. Spent $200 on something i cant access...really unimpressed with Padi for allowing this to occur..!
MSDT 641476 The library is not opening at all today. I have tried for 3-4weeks to download the OW touch...just achieved it. Many calls, emails to PADI. Still cannot access to answer quizzes or knowledge reviews. Prefer OW interactive DVD and Manual. Now app will not even open.
ABSOLUTE RUBBISH Half way through the second knowledge review and the drop down menu doesn't work so I can't complete the test. Tried again today and it needed an update, now I've updated and tried the test again and it's bringing it up in another language. Don't waste your time with this app!!
Nice concept but broken authentication. As many reviews say, you likely can't log in. I've tried URL encoding the user name, simple passwords, etc. Login works on the web but requires flash, which won't/shouldn't run on any modern device. Frustrating. Yes PADI your app is very nice but certifiably broken in its current state. Don't bother asking users to reset passwords. A little QA goes a long way.
Erdpml touch app embedded into the instructions? Oh hell no. I downloaded the library app to be able to install the the erdpml touch. Which it did... It's just a really poor implementation of that tool. When you pay $20 for an app you expect... well... an APP! Instead you download the erdpml instruction manual to the library and it has an interactive version of the calculator embedded in it. It does work, which is why I have it 2 stars instead of one, but this is a poorly built tool meant to suck up money from divers instead of actually be useful.
