Doesn't translate in real time, the app is needed. I wanted a headset that will translate without a app in real time. The app/headset can't even keep up with conversations. You have to stop and give it time to play catch up but then it doesn't even translate right. This headset is ok for listening to things only like music. This headset/app is Not Recommended for translating.

It doesn't work the way you think it will. In short, use the other app. Starts with a W (my review gets taken down of I put the name in). You can find people using it on YouTube if you search for the name of your translation headset. But in short, this is all kinda a scam. The PHONE APP is doing the translating, not the earbuds. So just use your normal buds and use Microsoft Translator (the best one), or Google (second best one).

Absolute trash and a complete waste of money. It is advertised as being able to automatically translate, which it does not. They claim it will read back to you the translation into the earphones but it does not. You have to manually record what's said and it only translates it into text on your phone. If I wanted a phone translator I could have just used the built in AI on my phone. Not waste money on a product that does NOTHING that it advertises.
