Great app for anyone in the DC area This is the best Metro trains app on the market.
Clickjacking ads I like this app. It was the first one I downloaded since WMATA made their db available. Works pretty good. I would have given it four stars, but - Just noticed this morning for the first time that this app is using clickjacking ads. Banner ads is one thing, but to try to con the user into thinking it's a notification is BS. With handhelds being the current hot target for malware, I can not use this app or any others that use clickjacking.
Location-aware Does one thing simply and well. Shows closest station based on current location, unlike other app. Just wish it had buses! Also, maybe the interface could be updated to have an Action Bar so features like the map are more discoverable. I would pay for an ad-free version.
Love Palta DCMetro NexTrain I cannot live without this app! Okay, maybe I could. But my quality of life would be severely diminished. -Happy & Punctual DC Commuter
Works great and makes my commute better Delivers and makes my commute a breeze. Optimizes my wait time and let's me know if I can have one more drink before heading to the train.
Good and simple For just rail service, this is perfect. You can store favorites which always show at the top, but you don't need out since it always pulls up the closest. The map is awesome on that out shows ALL entrances. Really easy to use and fast to pull up next train info.
The Silver Line is up and running and DC Metro Rails now has full support for it! All the new stations are available for real time train arrivals. This release also contains a few bug fixes for zooming in and out on the map and for sorting stations by distance.
"Count on this app to get you going through the entire system" - Washington Post
The app will help you find the right way out of the underground and its direction on the map
