We used it! My wife fell in the driveway and broke her foot and a bone in her leg. I could not hear her screaming from inside the house. She needed immediate help and pushed the panic button. It immediately texted all 5 people that she had programmed into the app. I ran out of the house to her Aid and the other people came right to the house and we were able to get her to the hospital. We never thought that we would really use this app. At least we hoped we wouldn't have to. This app was invaluable that day.
I have a problem with the app, it keeps sending a panic message of its own accord and I have not even opened my phone. It is most annoying for those receiving it. How can I prevent this happening?
Needs improvement A lock screen widget should be available.
Best of the bunch Cannot get it to work reliably with sms but works flawlessly with e-mail ..so much that i have ditched sms and rely only on e-mail alerts. activating it via the power button also no longer works on my galaxy s4. Shame because it could be difficult in a real emergency to open the app or widget... both of which require a second key press to confirm alarm event. I hope this is constructive because otherwise i really like it...and its better than all the others out there.. most of which completely suck.
Doesn't work I tested the app with 3 people and they did not get an SMS or an email. If I had a life or death emergency, I'd be dead... Galaxy S4
Great ! I've tried about 6 or 7 similar apps and this is the only one that worked both with S.M.S. and emails, and we can program up to 5 of each !! ... Good job devs :-)
