Pagine Ebraiche (Jewish Pages): a smart, provocative Jewish monthly with across the board appeal.
It is produced by UCEI, the Union of Italian Jewish Communities (the umbrella organization which links Italy’s twenty-one Jewish Communities) to speak to the “external world”. It features well written news reports, essays, commentaries, cultural pieces, interviews and more.
Pagine Ebraiche is the flagship of a new and ambitious program, which includes an online Jewish information portal, Moked.it and the daily newsletter, l'Unione Informa: a dynamic Jewish media presence able to engage in constructive dialogue with non-Jewish Italians. Pagine Ebraiche, which reaches all members of Parliament, media personalities as well as prominent cultural figures, has proved to be a vital forum with contributions by noted intellectuals.
Italia Ebraica: the Italian Jewish minority is a group with a strong identity cemented over time. Yet it has also important weaknesses: most notably a proverbial litigiousness, regional rivalry, strong territorial divisions which make any attempt at unity extremely problematic. Italia Ebraica is a monthly report from the 21 Jewish communities of Italy, a precious instrument to be informed about all things happening, from exibitions to courses, from parties to problems discussed all along the Italia ebraica; clearly destined to change how Italian society perceives the Jewish minority.
DafDaf: daf means page, so DafDaf stays for ‘from page to page’, or ‘to leaf through pages’… and here there are many colourful pages full of games, tales and activities, destined to be enjoyed by kids while learning some and maybe sharing the pages with curious, active, interested parents.
