Easy, convenient, and customer friendly I really liked parking panda when I used it for a city event that notoriously sells out and makes parking difficult. They made me a lifelong customer though with my second reservation. On my way to the garage, I found that all of the streets to it were blocked for an event so I couldn't use my reservation. With parking panda I was able to quickly reserve space in a different garage so I wasn't late and they refunded my original reservation. Great app and customer service!
Interface is awkward at best, confusing at worst. I thought I was purchasing three individual days of parking for a three day event but was actually purchasing three day overnight parking, this combined with attendants that were unfamiliar with parking panda at the host garage and just plain rude made for a less than pleasant first try. Even though it was my mistake Parking Panda still refunded my original amount. I'll admit I was in the wrong and since I find the idea of the app a good one I'll give it another shot sometime in the future.
So far so good Used this app twice so far and it worked. The first time it didn't appear to be cheaper than paying directly at garage even though it claimed "app discount". The second time it saved me $12 dollars
QR code isn't stored in app While the reservation info is stored on the app when offline, the QR code is NOT. This a serious problem when one is parked at a location without data access-- such as an underground garage. Though my reservation info shows in the app the QR code I needed in order to leave the garage disappeared when I was underground and away from a cell signal. I had to leave the car and go outdoors to download a PDF file to email in order to get the QR code to leave the garage.
Can't use any coupon codes The only reason I downloaded the app was because they supposedly had codes. NONE of them work. Even when they told me I would get credit if my friend signed up.
Great customer service I had reserved a parking spot however when we arrived to get the spot the lot was full. Though this was not Panda Parking's fault they not only issued a refund for the reservation they also gave me a credit for future reservations. I am impressed by their customer service and will use them again despite the issue we had previously.
