About this app

The name Parkopedia is a combination of the words parking and encyclopedia (think Wikipedia... but for parking!).

Born out of a frustration of looking for parking, we have set out to map and list every parking space in the world. To date, Parkopedia has grown to cover 70 million parking spaces in over 15000 cities around the world thanks to contributions from drivers like you.

Use this app to

* Find parking using your current location or by entering an address

* Get directions straight to the space or an entrance

* See parking space availability in real-time where available (Premium upgrade required)

* Find opening hours, up to date prices, payment methods and more

* Quickly narrow down parking choices using filters such as street parking only, free, credit cards accepted, covered, etc

Confusing. I installed it and looked for parking in a part of the city that I know is usually crowded. It was able to tell me about some nearby parking garages, but nothing about on-street parking. When I switched to "Street", it had one listing 1.5 miles away. "Help" does not actually provide anything that might be considered help. The website was also not very helpful. Is this meant to find only paid parking? If so, be direct about that.

Amazingly useful!! "Only" 4 stars as the interface isn't quite as easy to navigate as I'd like *BUT* as a coach driver, being able to find (ideally free) parking locations for a 4m tall (and 13-14m long) vehicle in unfamiliar territory is inviting disaster unless you have this kind of resource!! Being able to enter intended destination, start time and duration as well as constraints such as vehicle height is "just the (NOT parking) ticket"!! 😄

Buggy as hell. This is the buggiest app I've ever used. Sometimes it just decides to go completely blank. It doesn't save my searches anymore. It takes forever to load. It doesn't accept a lot of forms of addresses so you have to enter them in in the exact way it likes - which is a way I've never seen anybody write one. That aside it has the majority of parking information missing and I live in London. The UI is terrible. It can be wrong as it's user generated. Overall useful. But fix the bugs.
