There is no way to trigger a Bluetooth search from the pot. I do not see any signal from the pot, so I am unable to use it. Doesn't seem to be any help or support available. As of now, it's been an utter waste of money.
Cloud service has not worked for Android 5 and below since early April 2017. Now unable to do firmware updates to allow these devices to work with Android 7. Received a staggering response from Parrot: that they no longer support these devices and for data retrieval from clouds, customers are recommended to now build custom APIs using tools provided from their developer site. Customer support truly atrocious.
Parrot seems to have given up on trying anything to resolve issues for its clients who purchased the flower power sensor. My experience using the devices keeps going downhill, sadly the sensors never delivered on the promises of the companies website to be accurate and reliable. If you have multiple of these devices active, say 12+ synchronization and updates are a hassle. I own 20+ of these devices, and it's been disappointing to work with customer service to find any resolution..
After firmware update, all flower powers (6 total) say no soil detected. All other reading work
Parrot has awful support attitude. I will definitely steer clear of Parrot products in future.
Used with 2 (expensive) sensors. One of which failed within a year. The other now rarely connects even within 1 m range & then often results in a cloud processing error. My nephew purchased 3 of these last year, all of which have now ceased to function. Extremely poor product from Parrot that feels rushed to market with little regard for the customer once the sale is made.
