The current version is working great. Still doesn't offer imperial measurements, altitude above 150m, or a return to home altitude or low battery return to home setting. Not sure it ever will but it should considering the agriculture market they are targeting (I am one). Auriga software supports these features so obviously it's trivial to add. But the current version is working absolutely great on my s7.
App is free, but advanced options have free trials and are available at reasonable prices. Those advanced features are free with a DJI, but at twice the cost for the drone. Also, DJI stops support of their drones after 2 or 3 years, so if you spend $1500 on a phantom, you are screwed. Anyway, the app is awesome and intuitive. Easy to use. Manuals and reading are provided via the Parrot site and their "drone school".
App crashes constantly on Pixel 2 xl with 8.1. Works great on my son's old iPhone 6 so it seems to be poor Android support. I guess I am lucky the app crashes without even connecting to the drone so the drone hasn't crashed, but it is very disappointing.
This app is unreliable. I'm pretty upset that I have to use apps like A.R. pro 3 instead of the manufacturer app just to trust the drone's flight capabilities. Parrot doesn't make great apps for Androids and they also sell add on functions like follow me and flight plan that the app should have built in for free.
I have owned my bebop2 for 2 weeks it was working fine .except for a controller calibrating issue. So cust support told me in the 2rd to download this app and then calibrate my controller. So I did and exactly 1 min and 5 secs in my drone shut down in mid flight at 100 feet. I got to watch my 600 dollar drone fall to earth like a rock. Thanks parrot you suck.
Just watched my brand new bebop 2 fall from the sky at around 120 feet shattered like glass. thanks to the new update. That is completely worth less. saved for about 3 months to Buy and carefully picked the parrot drone based on customer experience damn was i wrong. Thanks parrot for the huge let down in ur product. I will be switching back to the DJI product
FreeFlight Pro now support the Parrot Bluegrass, the first Parrot quadcopter specifically designed for agriculture.
This version is compatible with the new Bebop 2 feature Bip My Drone (version 4.4.0 or above), add a new radar on the piloting interface, and also improves the application stability.
Synchronization problems during the application launch have been fixed.
