Love it!! Server does NOT crash when taking photo via web interface.. Yay :-) Works very well. Love the new web interface that now allows you to change settings like video resolution on the fly. Very handy when you want to lower the bandwidth load on your local network without physical access to the device. The plugin "save photo on modet" crashes the server though: "IPwebcam is not responding"
Great app, but... It's very useful. I'm using my old smartphone as IP camera. There is some kind of problem because I can't charge battery when its working as IP camera. The charger is shown as connected, but there is no battery charge. The phone is a Motorola XT316, Android 2.3.4. Working OK in. Android 5.1 generic tablet.
This is a very good app. Turning your old smartphone into a ip camera. Advise to people wanting to use this app and view the camera on your coputer or an other smartphone? instead of using a browser on your computer or smartphone. It is better to use an IP Cam viewer. The reason for this is for better viewing and controlling of the IP camera. You can use any IP camera viewer. The only thing that you have to do is to put in the correct settings. Like Ip address, port, etc.... It wrongs for me. I am using this app as baby monitor
Irritating ads and eats battery Really nice program, but, it randomly starts really noisy ads that takes over your whole phone. Feels almost like your phone is infected by a virus. If you forget to kill the application propperly you will wake up at 3am by a loud ad about some Russian-girls-dating service.... Not sure i would ever wanna pay for a program that act like this.
Something is wrong... I might just have terrible WiFi but this app does not like to perform well with my phone and PC... I'm using a jiayu though... Aside from my specs being high end the components may be cheaper so I assume it may be my phone holding me back. I can't even get a low quality low res vid to display with decent framerate... I mean it shows up and works but to say that it really works it not true... It is in the range of one frame per thirty seconds... With jittering teases of a few extra frames here and there
everything went well specially with cloud broadcasting but local broadcast only gives me "HTTP/1.1 200 OK" for IE and a blank white screen for chrome. what am I doing wrong? I also find it had to record. I added a button but it doesn't appear
