About this app

Is time at your android device correct? Check it with atomic clock at GPS satellites or Internet (NTP/HTTP) by Smart Time Sync!

- Check and sync device's clock with GPS or Internet (NTP/HTTP),
- Detect time zone by location,
- Time signal,
- Background time sync with NTP(HTTP),
- Background passive time sync with GPS. Passive means the app uses GPS only when another app uses it,
- Automatically switch to HTTP time source if NTP one is unreachable
- Very small memory footprint. In paid version even smaller - less 100Kb.

If your device is not rooted, you can sync in manual mode only. How to root your device you can read at or google "how to root your_phone_model"
If you want the app to detect and set time zone, just click on timezone field in the app and follow guide or install "Smart Time Sync TZ data".

If the app helps you and you love it, please rate it 5 stars only - 4 stars and less is a negative rating.

If the app doesn't work for you, please email me. I can't make the app better if you just leave a comment.
In free version background sync feature is seven days limited.
Thanks for using the app!

This is even more useful than the other standalone app and appears to work even on Android 10. The problem I experienced in your other app with the date being incorrect does not occur here. Thank you for creating this. Also, for anyone wondering, the beeping you hear when you choose to set the time manually is so that you can tap on OK as close to the second mark as possible. If you can't set the exact second, it's a good go up a minute, count the beeps until you reach the minute mark, tap OK.

Sadly, like so many other apps, this one has no instructions. I have a Moto power 5S phone, and it isn't rooted, so I selected manual sync. With no warning, the phone starts beeping, every second for about a minute, then stops. The main screen has a green message: "On. Fixed now" but the time display still shows a +1.1 second offset. Apparently, nothing has synced. What now?

I wish we could see atomic time and the phone's time setting function simultaneously. This would make it easier to set the time manually, instead of waiting to hear the tone. (How can deaf people use this app if not rooted?). Also, I wish the atomic time display was in a larger typeface so I could see it more easily from a distance when setting the time on other devices.
