The app is a great sidekick to the device. I would like the addition of a tutorial to show visually what all the dynamic modes look like on the led readout on the device. Also, if it were possible to change the temp and user setting while the Pax is disconnected so when it is powered up it will automatically adjust.
Eh, it does the job. On the V20 nothing is aligned visually. The temp, flavor setting, and text is mashed and skewed. The new update also takes way longer to connect. The unit is usually already heated to the previous setting before the app connects. I appreciate the effort, but there is clearly still some work to do.
Edit: Thanks for your help with this. Just to recap, I was trying to update, it would say I need to have a charge of 50% or more. Well, turns out it wasn't firmware. It was user error (imagine that)! I had a ahh hah moment this evening after my PAX3 lost charge. I realized it wasn't the phone that needed to be over 50% charged but the PAX3 (haha). I charged the PAX3 and was able to update successfully! I would like to tell myself I wasn't the only one that lost their mind...I could have sworn I read where others were having a similar issue. I have had a moment to check the app out and it seems to work without issues. Thanks again for the prompt reply, I'm changing my rating to 5.
App works well overall - can easily change pax temps and colours and start games. There are some minor UI/UX issues like mis-alignment of icons and wish the dynamic mode descriptions didn't disappear. Overall adds a lot of fun to the pax experience.
Great app. Just not sure why it requires location services to be on. Just causes my phone battery to die faster. Would give this a 5 if it didn't require location services.
Issue now resolved. I ended up syncing it and placing it back on the charger before updating the firmware. Great app! User friendly and cool features.
