Ratings and reviews

For several times already, trying to move money from my bank to the wallet often fails. the worst part is the lack of proper communication as to the issue. OTPs not being received, or banking screens not loading properly. And all they tell you is an error was encountered. I know my connection is fine as I can open my banking apps. The savings feature on Maya may be great but the wallet is just a horrible experience.

BE CAREFUL OF THIS APP. Charged me twice for a single purchase! Labeled as debit adjustment. I tried reaching out customer service but customer service is very unresponsive!!! YOU MIGHT LOSE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. Another issue I had is I was charged more than what is recorded in transaction history when I bought something. Support is futile and won't return the unrecorded deducted amount because they can't do basic math. THEY CAN GET MONEY FROM YOU ANYTIME WITHOUT RECORDS.

The app is convenient. However, I dislike the new biometric verification (face photo) that the app required apart from the typical password during log in. When you click maybe later, it will just revert you to the log in screen. When you click continue, it will say face verification failed, and choose either contact customer support or got it (which will again revert you). Customers should be notified about this ahead or in the app, NOT at the time of log in. It's a hassle and without consent.
