This used to be the most awesome ap! Fricken loved it. Then it updated, and its crap now. It used to allow you 15mins of free enjoyment, now after two seconds it jumps off. Although $7 buck isnt bad for the full price, if I cant even get the free without clitches, why would I actually pay for the service. Who's to guarantee that the swrvice would actually work?
Oh no what happened.... I have used the full version of this app for years and loved it. Now my MSI computer, with most recent windows 10 update, paired with HTC phone causes computer to crash and reboot. I hope this is something they are working on (this just started a few months ago with latest windows update). In the past they have done a very good job fixing things. Please don't let me down this time.
Some issues I have the full version and it really works. But there are some flaws:1.Sometimes when connecting it doesn't work and you have to try connecting again 2. PTP is no longer available for most modern android systems 3. The internet goes at around half the speed you would originally get 4. It randomly stops working at times 5. It doesn't seem to work when you are downloading something off of a web browser ...That's it, I hope these can get fixed in the future
WOW !!!! Hallelujah! It worked, ahhh can't believe it! Finally now I can enjoy my laptop in those limited places, thanks a kabillion :-D...... Woo hoo hoo :-) :-D Finally got to purchase full version on the computer from website. So excited, thank you :-) UPDATE: Sooooooooooo loved this app, but now I can't keep it connected :'(. Contacted the company and got nothing :'(
I have had this app for a very long time( I would guess almost 10 years now). It has been the most reliable app of all that I have. It is the only app that has maintained 5 stars throughout. When I bought it, I think it was $14.99. Thank God I didn't wait for the price to go down. I would have missed years of awesomeness.
Been using for years. Difficult to get broadband except by satellite. Unlimited data for my original Motorola Droid. Uses Bluetooth for tablet since the old Droid isn't hotspot capable. I believe $15 for app no monthly fee. Fee to tether was $30 a month at the time. Four - six years at $30 a month equals big bucks still in my pocket. New: Verizon killed the hotspot for my HTC with an upgrade. Tethered using USB port my computer works as a hotspot for tablets though range is short, The way my house is constructed makes using farther than the next room spotty. The option is listed as beta works well though I have a feeling Verizon has a way to force close the app if you use a lot of data. Once, had to rename the WiFi and delete WiFi password on phone. Started working again.
