Quite good. Scans well and OCR works well. Scanner files are only single page, so not ideal if, for example, lost the soft copies of a bunch of your work. Also no way to 'save as' once you have a text file. You either have an image or you have to send the text to yourself and compile the bits. Could be more functional with fewer workarounds. It was only a couple of dollars for a month, but I'd pay for more for better features.

No album selection makes it difficult to be used. It's very good in text scanning and capable of recognizing different languages. However, it is almost impossible to find the picture that I need to scan cause it only allows choosing from All Pictures instead of individual album and there is no sorting features to see the most recent picture first. So every use takes me couple minutes to find the photo that I need as I have a lot of album and pictures.

Scanning recipes, it can't recognize fractions. It also can't recognize columns of text. Useless for my purposes. I also get there would be ads, but video ads? I don't have time to sit and wait for them to time out. The ads are intrusive and you are forced to see them full screen when going back to the scanner operation. I would avoid this app just because of the ads. Maybe the devs will change their placment.
