We offer a field testing service to detect Red Palm Weevil larvae growing in coconut palm trees within the first 2-weeks of infestation. The testing service uses state-of-the-art IoT solutions based on Cloud Computing and Machine Learning developed at the Morph Lab of Dyson School of Design Engineering, Imperial College London in the UK, a World Top 10 University.
Growers lose about 10% of their yield per anum due to this insect. We enter into a service contract with growers to make periodic visits to the farm to test young trees that are most vulnerable. The service charge is around 1/3 of the increased yield due to reduced damage from RPW infestation.
