Awesome, but... I wanted to give this app one star, because I'm not able to touch notes beyond the 12th fret. Even, after trying to enlarge the fretboard with two fingers, it's just not possible (on my Nexus 7). But, it's an awesome app, so I rated it higher, although I couldn't use it. I really hope this issue will be fixed!
Fretboard Too Small Very hard to touch the right string at the right fret due to the tiny size of the keyboard. For any example of a good size fretboard see RR Guitar Fretboard Trainer. I will revise this review if/when this problem is fixed.
Excellent theory and practice but horrible touch response. The theory is brilliantly explained and the exercises are superb. My only problem is marking the answers on the fretboard. I have to slowly and precisely tap the correct spot on fretboard 3-10 times until it's finally accepted. Massive touch screen issues in practice mode. I've bought Major and Minor scales module and I'm disappointed with performance of the app. I was tempted to buy all modules.... well. After few weeks of practice I got used to the touch and bought all modules. Upgraded rating from 2to5. I wonder if you can add more scales on single string exercise. Only major scale is available on one string practice. It would be useful to practice all other scales on one string....
Buy option not displayed. I want to buy scales module but buy option is not being displayed.if i could buy it den review could be perfect for me. Plz make the app in portrait mode also.
Bluetooth headphones fail Doesn't work with bluetooth headphones, although the page scrolling sounds come through the headphones, the notes on the fretboard comes through the devices own speakers, very annoying when wanting to practice without disturbing anyone.
Seemed like it was going to be a good app for learning guitar, until it pretty much stops and asks for $15 to go any further after teaching a very minimal amount.
