About this app

PG&E Report It is compatible with Android 14 and later.

We work hard every day to keep our communities safe. We use drones, helicopters, cameras and more to enhance our efforts. And now, our customers can help us keep our communities safe. The PG&E Report It program is a valuable part of our safety toolkit. When customers report non-emergency safety concerns, it helps us identify risks, take action and protect neighborhoods. With PG&E Report It, you can send us photos of possible non-emergency safety issues with our electric system to help us keep your community safer.

PG&E Report It makes it easy to report non-emergency safety concerns related to PG&E electrical equipment. Simply submit a photo of a power pole, power line or other electrical equipment that you think is hazardous, along with the location and a brief description. Your submission goes straight to our Safety Team for review within 5 business days. Together, we can help keep our communities safe.

1. After you submit a report, we’ll confirm it’s been received.
2. Our safety team will review your issue.
3. We’ll send you an email update on your issue status and resolution timeline, if applicable.
4. Some safety concerns can be addressed quickly. Others may take longer depending on our team’s assessment of the issue.
5. You’ll receive status updates as the issue moves forward. We’re committed to keeping you informed every step of the way.
6. When the issue is closed, a final update will be sent to you letting you know what actions were taken.

With the app, you can:
• Review examples of safety issues
• Submit a photo or video of a non-emergency safety concern
• See submissions made by others
• Get notified when your safety concern is under review or closed
• See PG&E’s findings about your concern and others

this thing will not allow me to report a safety issue unless I grant it access to recording with my camera to all the media on my device. I only need to show you two pictures, but granting permissions for just those two pictures is that apparently is not good enough for PG&e, they need to see all the pictures on my phone in order to hear about a safety issue

Just got an app update since the outage this morning. Still doesn't show current or "recent today" outages. It shouldn't take more than 30 seconds! It annoyingly makes you tap through 4 pages of tutorial EVERY TIME you open the app! PG&E FFS, just copy and paste Puget Sound Energy's app/outage system. Theirs isn't perfect, but it works!

The app works flawlessly. It would improve the app if there was a way to include contact info for the person reporting. The aborist that came out had the location but that was all.
