Have been using Philips Hue for several years without any issues... until recently. Not sure why, but my lights randomly turn on... which is incredibly annoying in the middle of the night 'cuz it wakes me up. I've reset, changed login credentials, uninstalled/reinstalled... but still happens. Not sure if it happens for others, but hopefully a fix is implemented soon.

I love the lights and app. I have 3 bulbs and there are so many wonderful color schemes to choose from. Occasionally there is an issue with the lights connecting, but a force stop and restart fixes it. There aren't any ads besides those related to the bulbs, and they don't ever interrupt the operation of the app. I've been using the app for years and haven't had any major issues that make me reconsider my choice to use Philips Hue.

Been using this app and the hub for many years and it gets worse as time goes on. I have about a dozen lights in different room. The automation is lousy. Many times the lights don't turn off, don't dim or even won't turn on. I live in AZ where we don't do daylight savings and it always throws this app for a loops when time daylight savings adjusts in March & October. 2 stars for not performing the basic tasks. Unfortunately, Smarthings app is no better. 2026 and still struggling with these apps
