Philips DreamMapper has access to the following permissions:

Approximate location (network-based): This is to set up Bluetooth communication. A location is required to acquire the pair.

Read the contents of your USB storage: This is needed to access the scanned and stored image that the camera takes of the Device Serial Number (DSN).

Read the contents of your USB storage: This is a way to access the DSN image that might be stored on the SD card (some Androids devices store images to the SD card). This is the default behavior when you ask for the Photo/Media/Files access.

Take pictures and videos: Used to scan the DSN.

Other reasons
Receive data from Internet: DreamMapper needs to communicate with its Data Center.
View network connections: Wi-Fi setup as well as the need for DreamMapper to communicate with its Data Center.
Pair with Bluetooth devices: First-time connection to another Bluetooth device.
Access Bluetooth settings: First-time connection to another Bluetooth device.
Full network access: DreamMapper needs to communicate with its Data Center.
Prevent device from sleeping: Prevents the phone from “going to sleep” while playing videos.

App has been very stable for a year or so for me so I'm changing to four stars (more detailed data would get it 5). Seems like last few updates broke Bluetooth to the extent that it's unusable. I go days without being able to get data, then one day it'll magically connect just the one time. I've literally managed to connect and download data twice in three weeks now. DS2. Edit: support needs to wake up and read these reviews for the app. This is awful.

This app helps me with my cpap usage, because it let's me know how many apnea events I'm having even with the machine. However, it takes longer than most to load, and sometimes loses the Bluetooth connection and I have to sign in again, which is problematic. It also gets a little reminder if I don't use it for long enough. This is nice, but can feel a little naggy.

Seems to display the data. It slow downloading data. Started displaying 7 or 8 disconnects with no large leaks when it normally shows 1 or 2 disconnects from when I turn it off in the morning and if I get up to use the toilet I don't turn ot off to help preserve motor longevity. Curious behavior; not sure if it is the cpap or the software. I will look at sleepyhead data to see if an issue really exists.
