Hunting terminology is a unique vocabulary: precise terms for game species, physical characteristics, behavior, tracks, and hunting procedures. Understanding this language makes it easier to read technical texts, communicate more confidently in the field, and better understand typical phrases used in training and practice. This app helps you not only recognize terms but also retain them permanently.

At its core, the app uses an adaptive spaced repetition system. The repetition intervals adjust to your actual memory capacity. If you confidently recall a term after a longer than expected interval, the next interval is lengthened. If you are unsure or answer incorrectly, the interval is shortened without resetting your progress. This allows you to focus on precisely the words you need to solidify.

Two learning modes are available. Multiple choice enables quick practice sessions with immediate feedback and is particularly well-suited for efficiently building a large vocabulary. Self-assessment strengthens active recall: You see a term or meaning, try to recall the correct association yourself, and then evaluate whether you knew it, almost knew it, or didn't know it at all. This approach noticeably improves long-term retention.

The content is organized into clear categories so you can learn in a targeted way, for example, game and its names, physical characteristics, tracks and trails, hunting practices, equipment, and other typical technical terms. You can flexibly select and deselect categories.

There are several question types with two query directions: term → meaning and meaning → term. This allows you to train both recognition and active recall. You can change the settings at any time without losing your progress.

Tests provide you with a clear assessment of your current knowledge. In a test, each card in a category is reviewed once. Depending on your result, you receive a silver or gold medal. Tests can be repeated as often as you like and transparently show how your knowledge is developing.

A card overview also allows you to freely look up and review all terms.
