About this game

Phonic Zoom is a subscription-based Phonics, Spelling and Reading app full of engaging games designed to support all children on their English learning journey. It supports any spelling or phonics scheme your child already uses.

100% ad-free, subscriptions are available to parents, schools and trusts and contains more than 30 games each custom built to cover a separate phonics and spelling skill.

With over 10,000 words with professionally recorded audio, use our weekly spelling lists linked to their age group or add your own lists to match the scheme your school uses.

Phonic Zoom also includes every phoneme and grapheme correspondence from all of the major phonics schemes to give you full coverage. Phonics Lists allow targeted intervention for every child, with focus placed on the graphemes and phonemes they need to practice.

Featuring customisable astronauts who appear in the games, your child can create themselves and see their character as they practice. The more they play, the more they unlock add-ons for their character, such as pets, accessories and different costumes.

In-app collectables encourage children to practice more, with effort-based rewards designed to encourage them to keep trying.

Parents, carers and teachers can even add their own words and record audio for them so no word is ever missing!

Difficulty settings on every game ensure every child can find a level they are comfortable with.

Space Races between pupil groups, classes and schools encourage friendly competition amongst children, with leader boards and high score tables to show children how their latest scores compare.
