Nice to have an easy, quick reference for interesting rocks. The database is extensive and good. it is really fun being able to immediately identify a rock out in the field. There is an incredible wealth of information on every rock identified. The app also organizes your finds for easy access and offers a perspective on the quality of your collection. The app is understandably not always consistent in its assessment of the same rock from different angles. Overall, I am enjoying the app.

I've really enjoyed my experience on the app, it isn't limited to a subscription for most of the features and is actually completely usable without it. I'd only recommend the subscription if you have some rarer stones that aren't available in the free category, but I haven't come across this issue yet. Theres also no "every five second ads," it scans gems, crystals, and stones well, overall I liked this app.

Great App, well worth buying the yearly pro option! I've had this for a couple of years now since I work with a lot of gemstones and I absolutely love the added features I've seen since first downloading it. You normally get up to three possibilities for each gemstone and there is so much information to help you figure out which one it might be including additional pictures of the stone and various forms. You can also export your searches. I can't recommend this enough! I absolutely love it!
