Good for map overview but im done with recording rides. Would like it better if the record option was a one touch and done like other apps. More often than not i thought i was recording my ride when i wasnt because the + button prompts you to then pick from 3 options which is not intuitive in my opinion
Great app. Very useful to find new trails. I have had trouble uploading some photos of trails. The submit button not doing anything. Otherwise I love it and great to have the Strava overlay and ability for user to contribute to the MTB community.
I can't speak for the overall features and performance of the app because I couldn't get past the sheer lack of routes. Many well known local trails do not show up. Using opencyle maps as a layer on something like Gaia or Orux is far more helpful.
At last, I've found the best MTB trail map app. At every turn I expected a little message saying you can't do this or you can't do that. I've yet to be told that. And the beauty of Trailforks you can amend trails and send in reports in a 'Wiki' style, on the website, and you feel like they are your trails and not someone else's. You can also record your rides and have it auto through to Strava. I'm sold, best thing since the invention of the bike.... (well, not quite, but close)
Great app with plenty of trails, neat layout and good contextual information. But the GPS function just doesn't work for me, so when I'm out on the trail it's a guess where I am and is a major limiting factor. Reported but no response. Otherwise would be 5 stars. Update: GPS now works :)
Really like this app. Saved me from getting lost a few times on a difficult trail.
