Addictive Since my daughter became cabin crew this has been a lot of fun. Even watching planes taxi on runways is fun. Great app thanks. Only criticism is when I click on a plane it shows me everywhere it's been and they're seems to be no option to clip it to just the current flight.
Great but ... I have recently switched from the iOS version to the Android version. Some of the latest features are missing and a plane's movements over the whole day show up as tracks. This gets very confusing if the same aircraft has been in and out of the same airport several times during the day.
It's okay It's great for identifying international flights, but it has no information about the midsize airport near me, making it pretty useless.
Good when it works App is very nice when the plane you are tracking shows up. If you have a plane selected and come back later to the app, it's forgotten (even on latest version). Plane suddenly drops out of view and doesn't show up easily, even on searching again in the area where it is supposed to be. Pretty inconsistent.
Searching not great, custom alerts extra Searching for things is not great, e.g. Rome does not return any airports, airport names only known by native name, i.e. Fiumicino, not Leonardo da Vinci. Custom alerts is an additional paid for feature in an already paid for app, fine if the app was free but it's not, and there are no details as to what you'll get if you pay.
Wait for update! This version is not similar to Appstore/iPhone/iPad version. Until it is not updated on Android, you should prefer Flightradar24. When can we replay? When can we connect to Google Chromecast? And why to pay for Alerts !? Come on guys, you are a bit stingy...
