A wonderful app! It doesn't focus on comments and toxicity, unless you are into that follow what you want. But it at least allows you the chance to just go on and find millions of new or old inspiring ideas from all over the world, without being destracted by nonsense. And rather than just a like based system, you can really store and organize your saved stuff. Great for art, diy, home decor, food and more!

I love Pinterest, it's an amazing tool for creatives, but it's not the same as it used to be. At some point in time they changed the algorithm, and now it's MUCH more of an echo chamber. When you pin something, they immediately fill your feed with other closely related pins, even if you've shown no other interest in the thing. It's incredibly frustrating for creatives, as you just get shown the same pins over and over. Myself and others have had to move to Instagram for better variety.

I have been with Pinterest since the beginning...until this past year or so. It has become non-stop ads, pushes shopping instead of actual ideas, and there's no reasonable search/explore engine anymore. I used to use it daily, now I can go months without even thinking about it. If it decides to become a 100% shopping platform, no one would be surprised. :/
