It's useful and helps me find inspiration, but the new system is confusing and way too complicated to use. It was easier to see messages and comments from the activity bar and seeing the recommendations on the same bar. If you could go back to how it originally operated and removing the white circles at the bottom right corner, that would be great.
I have tried to look but there is not way to disable the notification icon that hovers above the app and seeing as how it is grouped with my social media and messaging apps, it is extremely frustrating to think I have messages that need attending only to find out that Pinterest just wants to bother me about "Today". Snapchat and Instagram disable the out-of-app notifications completely if you want. It is simple. So I dont know why Pinterest does not. It may seem like a small thing but it really is troublesome if youre not used to it. Ive had it a week an am uninstalling. If pinterest is going to be THAT in-my-face, then I'd rather remove them altogether. I can just Google the things I pin anyways.
I will always love Pinterest, the interesting pictures, ideas, links, etc. is enjoyable. One thing, I love is you can find amazing fan arts for my fandoms. But, ugh... Why wouldn't it save pictures completely? When i try to save a particular picture, it wouldn't save in my gallery. Please help.
I still like Pinterest but again changing something that didn't need it. I did like the descriptions as well as the board names at the bottom of the pins on initial view. Now it makes all pins run together. It's hard to tell what's separated from what.
Pinterest is perfect for getting and shape and finding information. Unlike other apps, pinterest has better results for losing weight, it has different P.O.V's to help you, as well as different methods. With pinterest I've seen that it's truly possible to lose weight, no matter your body type. You'll also find that it's not at all like those fake ads for losing weight that you find on TV, you have real people's opinions and real people's thoughts and suggestions. It is also great for finding inspiration for art, cooking, writing, and more. It's even good if you are just looking to browse at clothes or funny things.
When the major notification changes came out, I hated it. Hard to see who is liking or pinning which pin. Lots of clicks needed to try to sort it out. It seems as if that has improved a little as of the latest release. I still don't like it as well as the original method, but at least it's a little more clear. Also, suggested boards to pin to seems to have lost its accuracy.
