About this app

Pioneer makes simple, great-sounding whole-home wireless audio systems for Android phones and tablets. Using DTS's breakthrough Play-Fi(R) technology, you can stream your favorite tunes over Wi-Fi right from the app to Pioneer Speaker(s) and/or Pioneer Receiver(s) connected to your existing stereo system. It's a huge step up from Bluetooth - the audio quality is outstanding, and you can enjoy music from your phone in one room, or all your rooms, anytime.

The app offers a wide range of built-in streaming options: play anything from your music library, enjoy songs from DLNA servers on your home network.

Please also note that the Pioneer Music Control App is companion software to audio products enabled with Play-Fi technology. It is not intended as a stand-alone audio player.

thank you i have broadband again, a text from my Internet provider when work is going on would help at least all is working well, I prefer to use DTS-PlayFi when streaming my Tidal music rather than to use Chromecast, not very good at all, except my built in YouTube app on my TV... The Pioneer app is good quality when working as it should... Happy it work's better now...

My Powerhouse: Pioneer VSX-LX303 Play Fi beats Bluetooth and Chromcast in terms of quality & (surprisingly) connectivity. It's instant, sounds beautiful and of course uses a lot of battery. My only suggestion is to work on the content and layout of the Music apps such as Tidal and Amazon...maybe a new logo a few months down the road! You guys are awesome 👌

The app opens to an update screen with boxes to check before hitting ok to proceed. However, the boxes are behind the decline button so there is no way to proceed. The screen cannot be scrolled nor shrunk to access the check boxes. This app is worthless.
