Ratings and reviews

09/02/23: I've been enjoying using ccleaner, even with the ads. Here lately, though, the ads have been far more aggressive than they had been. This morning, I've had to completely close out of the app to get back to it from MOST of the ads shown; they just won't allow the app to be accessed, once they are opened. Disappointed. Down to three stars, from my original five. I'll give it a bit more time, to see if things improve.

It was perfect before the pay wall. So perfect, in fact, that I was willing to cough up the $ for premium. After doing so, the app broke entirely. My favorite function, sleep mode, is broken. Not only is it unable to force stop ANY apps, but it spends about 20 minutes trying. The only way to free your phone from its ineffectual control is to do a hard reset. CCleaner, you hurt me. I've used you for nearly 20 years. We had a good thing going, but you threw it all away. Enjoy your money, goodbye.

Wowee the new changes make this app unusable without paying. I used to use this at least once a week to clean my phone but with the update to watch an ad to get the 'deep clean' does nothing. It plays the ad then puts me at the screen to hit the clean button then it goes back to the screen where I have an option TO PLAY ANOTHER AD. So disappointed.
