Choices is from the team that has been bringing you narrative games for over a decade. We created the top 25 hit games, Surviving High School and Cause of Death, the first games with episodes, for EA. After leaving EA, our team regrouped as Pixelberry in a small office, set out to continue creating story driven games with heart and launched the two interactive hit games, High School Story and Hollywood U.

Ratings and reviews

I've been playing Choices on and off for years. I can say for certain that it's the only game of it's kind I've been able to find that's genuinely well written. The narratives are immersive and compelling and the characters have fully fleshed out arcs and personalities. My only struggle with this game is that it's stingy with the diamonds. For that reason, I'd recommend approaching it as a casual game where you play a chapter or two once a week so you can get the options you want.

Really love this app! Beautiful art accompanies every story as the background for where each scene takes place, especially pretty for the fantasy stories! I love the customization for your character, and the stories are written really well, the characters really feel alive and real. My only downside is how expensive the diamonds are for the good choices !!! I know y'all gotta make a living but come on xD 25 diamonds for ONE choice is too much! otherwise it's definitely my favorite story app.

The app is generally well designed and the stories are well written and interesting. I find newer stories better, as you can see the improvements made in the writing and art. There is, however, no option for reviewing a transcript of the story so far, so if you leave off for a while between chapters or accidentally miss-click and skip a line, you're SOL unless you wanna replay the whole chapter over again. It also isn't very friendly for those who can't pay real money. Earning diamonds in game is tedious and limited - and the ads for diamonds error the majority of the time so you can't rely on them to slowly earn your way though. Essentially - expect to miss out on most of the interesting options if you don't wanna shell out money. Not being able to access those diamond choices also limits some of the replayability.
