Excellent for pre-4.4.2 Android where Google screwed everyone up It's a simple to use application with alternative and more intuitive approach to displaying permissions of applications. You want to know what can see where you are - there is a category showing that! Or you want to see what applications read your texts - just go see them! You are annoyed by an application notifying you about more features to buy? Disable just that! Pure awesomeness!
This is what I need Don't waste your time downloading other apps, this one send you directly to the App Ops Manager, no gimmicks or hidden fees. BTW if you don't know how to use it or updated to 4.4.2 don't give a 1 star review to the app. It make you look like an ignorant cry baby.
crashes immediately on 4.4.2 I'm running a 4.4.2 ROM on a Galaxy Nexus and this app crashes immediately on opening saying "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped". This is a shame as I'd be so pleased to use this app. I'd happily pay for a working version. Edit: I understand that Google took away the required API for this in 4.4.2. It's not the app developer's fault that this doesn't work. Nonetheless, it's worthless to me.
Great shorcut Had this on earlier ROMs, worked like a charm. Now I've got 4.4.4, its a no go. Oh well I'll still use it on my 4.2.2. Great job dev. team. BTW.If an APP doesn't work on your device because of ROM restrictions, blame the ROM developer, not the APP developer. Leaving bad(1*) reviews because of that is not helping anybody, it actually undermines the reason for the reviews. Please be courteous to the rest of us that actually use the reviews to help us pick new apps, if not then just don't leave a review.
Doesn't work I am running 4.4.3 on my moto x and it hasn't worked. Same "unfortunately settings has stopped as the others. If you guys update it to work on my phone I'll give it 5 stars
Very useful. Only issue for me is the text, which is optimised for a dark background, as per the screenshots. Difficult to read within the settings menu of my HTC One, which can't be changed from it's default off-white.
Works with Android 4.4
