Really enjoying this game so far, but wish there were more ways to reduce carbon levels.. or a way to get out of building if having insufficient funds to prevent carbon levels rising. Keep up the good work! :)
It's pretty cool so far. Lots of choices that affect your town outcome. UPDATE: so after playing this game for a while, several things make it unenjoyable and honestly, anyone who considered becoming more eco-friendly would probably not care anymore. The main objective is to last as long as you can and creating a city with a happy medium of eco-friendly efforts & industrial/technological advancements which is extremely hard. I have yet to last 10yrs & you only have 2 end results: bankruptcy or ppl fleeing cuz of pollution. It frustrates you after a while even with the free vid option to obtain certain things cuz if you choose one thing over another, you end up at either end result. The thing that makes it hard to obtain that happy medium is the costs aren't shown when making a decision so if you wanna add nurses to each elderly home, you're hit with, surprise surprise: bankruptcy or minus $300mil without you knowing. I still like the game but it could use some improvements!!!
The game is very confusing in nature. Things that should have no effect have random effects. Things that should help you drive more population don't do anything. It's a good concept, but a lot of the options you are given are lacking. The way ads are built in is disgusting, too.
Waaay to many ads...i was only into about 3 minutes of gameplay and had to watch very long ads in order to make decisions. I know devs need to get paid but this is outrageous. Deleting until the ads are a bit less. Again I dont mind ads because this is the way devs get paid but when ur only 2 to 3 mins in a game and have seen 4 ads thats cray!
Game of Earth? More like Game of Advertisements. I've had an ad come up every minute just trying to do basic gameplay functions. The game's format is heavily ridged, being forced to respond to things quickly without knowing about any sort of massive penalties and the penalties are pretty big. Chosing a policy has large, hidden, and immediate consequences that can end your game almost as soon as it begins and the only way to get a "hint" of that consequence is watching an ad. Want to put up an ecofriedly building? Ad. Yes, gamedevs need ads to make money but a smart dev will find a balance between gameplay and intuitive ad placement. This game is just not enjoyable. Way too many ads. I must have seen an ad come up every 30 seconds of playing the game and it's not as if they were for bonuses or something extra. No. They were for base gameplay functions. It's unacceptable.
The gameplay's adorable. It's fun how you have to manage it and make your own highest score by making decisions 😁
We updated new policy decisions for everyone!
