This is a great app for train commuters who can get engrossed in reading or texting or anything else and blow past their stop. The alert to get off the train now is something I use every day now. It runs in background and reliably chimes in to get me off at the correct stop. Uses a fair amount of power but I charge up at work so not an issue for me in how I use it.
Great app. When I first tried the app it didn't seem to work. However it is now working great. I use the app to log the days I'm working at set locations. I could never seem to remember to log my time at each location. Now as I approach a set location I get an alert and a text message. I reply to the text message with information I need to log. I have another app that dumps text messages to a csv file that I import into excel. Now I have dates times and notes/information I need. Great app.
Works well, very useful. Recommend. Works the best of every proximity alarm app I tried. Too bad it's so far down the search results. Only 4 stars because I feel like it could be more gracefully integrated into Google maps.
Probably needs expensive data to function Good app but intermittent response to alarms. Reason being that Gps checks for locations every 4 minutes which is a very long time period and in a moving vehicle 4 minute intervals almost always allows a gps fix to be missed. This program needs to be fine tuned. Basically useless.
Buggy but still useful. Been using it for my train commute. Sometimes the alarm is too late. Sometimes one of my alarms goes off before it's even close to the target. I listen to podcasts and when the alarm goes off and I dismiss it, the volume has changed. Don't see the point of repeat alarm, alarm dismiss, alarm dismiss, alarm dismiss??? Map feature is weak.
This app used to work flawlessly for me when I was using a Samsung Galaxy Note4, now it hardly ever works on my new Google Pixel 2. Makes me sad because I am narcoleptic and this app has saved me from sleeping through my train station several times, but now I can't count on it at all.
Bug Fix: Schemeless urls crash the program when the alarm is triggered
Bug Fix: Internal optimization crashes the program when the alarm is triggered
