App doesn't detect that the headset is connected to my S7 Edge - it keeps saying "Backbeat FIT is not connected to this device", even though it is connected and device seems to work. Incredibly, googling around for possible causes of the issue returns nothing but useless unrelated articles on Plantronics' support site. Now after looking at other reviews I'm really concerned about even trying to get this to work.
Doesn't connect.. 😩 Pixel 2 XL with BackBeat FIT 305 headphones.. just circle jerks on searching for device even when headphones already connected to phone! Please fix, would like to know if I'm on the latest firmware.
Love these headphones! Concerned about the battery life. Seems like after each charge the status level is different. It's either 8 hrs or 6 hrs. I let them charge until the light turns blue....maybe it's time another update
Firmware update went fine, not sure why others on here had a problem however what I really wanted was to have the battery level display on my status bar. not sure if this is an app issue as much as it is an android issue. I know the iPhone does display this when comnected.
2017-09-03: This app has improved remarkably since my last review and the firmware update process is pretty smooth and is more reliable now. Older: I was a bit nervous about the firmware update to version F since it was first update to the Backbeat and it started by failing to start at all in OnePlus One. Instead it stopped connecting through Bluetooth after the first attempt. I then tried with a Nexus 7 and the update went through with no issues. May be it's Android that has issues, I don't know. :)
My headphones are now bricked thanks to this update. Was connected to power source as well. Will not even turn on
