Ratings and reviews

The game has a lot of potential. The gameplay is pretty cool and smooth. I've a few major concerns though: 1. The game starts F2P friendly, but it very quickly becomes extremely P2W where resources required for an upgrade would either take months or money. 2. The ads are supposed to give you rewards. But server frequently fails to give the rewards for these ads. I've lost close to 80,000 credits this way. The supposed fixes don't work and the compensation is a joke. Customer service no help.

They did a great job making matchmaking better. They just released new maps, several of which have a color pallette that is all reds. If you're color blind they are almost unplayable. Update- in all but one map I've been able to figure it out. One still have to get close before opposing mechs appear out of the red background. It's a really fun game, but they follow the release a new weapon that is super effective, make everyone buy it to compete, then nerf it when they roll out the next.

So after playing about a month I still find this game fun. However it is a tad bit on the p2w side. But the prices aren't terrible enough to be a huge issue. I wish credits were easier to gain and legendary mech blue prints weren't nigh impossible to get without paying. Aside from that, the game is very well put together. A co-op mode survival style might be cool.

What's new

Here's what's new in version 2.29.01:

- Pilot Recommendations: If you have a Pilot with an Innate Skill that matches your equipped Weapon(s), they will now be listed first in the Mech Constructor interface.
- Bug Fixes: We have resolved a number of technical issues within the game, including a bug with Disc Launchers, an issue where Weapon counts were displayed incorrectly in the Inventory, an issue with the Referral System, and more.
