I've loved Kick the Buddy since I played it years ago on an Apple device, so I was thrilled to see it finally come to Android. I am disappointed with this version, however, because of the level of microtransactions and constant push to watch full-screen, loud and annoying ads. I am dismayed that instead of the option of a paid version to get rid of the ads, there is a subscription system for a weekly, monthly, or yearly fee. I can buy a full-featured PC game for the amount I'd have to pay a month just to get rid of some of the ads and get access to a few more items.What's worse is that even if you become a "diamond" member, you still have to watch ads or pay more money for "gold" to purchase some items labelled "free." So, although the game itself is still as fun as ever, I can only rate it two stars because of the constant ads and greedy subscription system. I will be happy to revise my rating if the developers would give us the option to buy a completely ad-free version of the game.

Fun to play but way too many ads, even after you buy the "remove ads" package. And the VIP package is way too expensive. I could see spending that or even a little more for a month renewal, not a week. Other than that it's a sadistic little time killer. Cool concept. Edit-stars have dropped, broke down and paid for the diamond membership, which would be good, except now I can't watch any videos at al. So the items you can get by watching videos and the free gold you can get won't work at all.

Okay so the game is great in terms of ways to kill buddy. However, the ads. Most of the time when you kill Buddy a present will appear and there is no exit button, when in fact there is. A few seconds will pass by and a blue button will suddenly appear and you don't need to watch the ads. Still, the ads are very annoying. When I'm spamming and Buddy dies I sometimes accidently click the present and I'm forced to watch the ads. I could just turn off my wifi but if I turn it off I can't buy weapon
