I don't like these games on Play pass, where you immediately notice they were initially built for making money through microtransactions.. you fail levels very often but you can't just restart. You need to click several times to do so, as the app tries to sell you a "life" wich costs coins. If you deny, you're taken back to the menue.. stressful..

I really wish I could rate this game higher, I really enjoy the retro pixel art style and high contrast colours. but the ads absolutely ruin the game. there're ads after every level, there will be three full ads in a row most of the time - which is a ridiculous amount - and it can't be played offline. I've played a lot of phone games with ads, and I know they're important to make revenue, but the extent of the ads in this game is by far one of the worst I have ever encountered. it's not worth it

It's a good enough fun game. However, it is completely littered with ads everywhere and stuff always pops up asking you to buy something, it's honestly pathetic. Also, when you die it takes energy, when your out you can't play anymore until it regenerates, but it takes forever and by the time energy is regenerated you've already started doing something else and don't want to play Tomb of the Mask anymore. In short it's a good game but the people running it are so money hungry that it ruins it.
