Great for beginners I've only dabbled in Yoga off & on, so this ap was great for reminding me why I love it. It has great basic poses and is user-friendly because you can set the duration of both the poses and the rests...a great feature! If I could change one thing it would be the sequence. These poses are given randomly every time you go through them. I would prefer doing all of the standing poses then all of the floor poses, rather than the up & down. This might be a personal preference, but I wish I could set a playlist.
Perfect For Hands-Free This app is the best one I've found so far. With a timer that alerts you, without inyerupting your music, I don't have to constantly worry about what's next. It also allows me to lessen or increase boththe rest tine and pose time. 4 stars instead of 5 b/c of the lack of variety in poses.
Yoga rules I didn't like yoga until my friend told me about it. She also said to download this app. At first I thought it would be boring, but it actually is fun and relaxing. It's good for ur body and if u go to the poses section and press a pose,it tells u the benefit of that pose. It's AWESOME!
Good and not so good They are missing two of the most important ingredients to a successful yoga practice: how to breath and how to transition. Each pose is treated like a rep. You have the pose then a rest time. I've never heard of such a thing in yoga. It doesn't feel like yoga at all actually. Just fitness. I do like that you can choose how long you are in each pose, your rest time(for figuring out how to transition) and a daily reminder. It would be nice, especially for this format, to show what the next pose will be.
Very good app for a beginner like me. Wish they could upgrade or improve the app by adding more poses than just 10. Wish for more variety so as to improve and increase my flexibility. I tried not to miss a day, regardless of what day I'm having and have also increased time spent in pose however wish there was more poses. Other than that a great app. Increase the poses to 15-20 then definitely 5stars!!
I love using this app after I walk to stretch. I do have a suggestion: you have a 10 second setup between yoga positions, except at the start...it's only 3 to 4 seconds. That's not enough time to get into position as you change the starting yoga position each time. Why not give 10 seconds initially?
