Sign in loop While I greatly enjoy the app, the constant sign in prompts and absolute refusal to save my log in information is starting to wear me down. If not fixed I'll eventually have to find a new streaming app.
Personal Netflix Awesome service. Worth the tinkering if you are a storage hoarder. Premium licence worth it if you travel. Needs a continuous play on Playstation console but apart from that; it's the like my cheese... very Gouda.
Awesome concept and realization Love having all of my media accessible on the go! Sometimes the streaming over mobile networks is inconsistent but boy am I glad for a simple and elegant solution to view my media anywhere.
Nice app, BUT... ...needs some work, specially for the €5 it costs. 2 issues: The first is that we should be able to change aspect ratio on videos, movies, etc. during playback from our android devices/apps, all other players on Android such as VLC etc. have it implemented. And the second is I think the most important if we look at where Android's media consumption is headed, that is the Miracast or WiDi (Wireless Display) protocol which is nowadays natively integrated into every Smart TV on the market. The issue I'm having is that unlike applications like VLC or the default Samsung Video app, your player mirrors the video during playback on both screens, it should however only mirror the controls, and video should solely be reproduced on whichever TV screen you're connected to. Now this affects 2 major factors: The first is the resolution and aspect ratio, these are not optimized for the TV Screen, other apps do so automatically. And the second is the battery life of the tablet or phone, which is literally drained unnecessarily by playing the video on both screens, rather than the TV alone. Trust me, try either apps mentioned above during Miracast Screen Mirroring and you'll see what I mean!!
Do NOT spend £3 on the "Premium Functions" in application. I did this and received "Please purchase a Plex Pass" when trying to use features like Sync. Only support seems to be on the forums, very weak for a paid for Application, surely should have some sort of email / ticket support. Ended up putting a refund request through Google who I'm happy to say obliged. Very disappointed, a very nice application let down by a weak customer service system.
A mess I'm still unable to shuffle all songs belonging to same artist synced to offline mode. All I get now is "Unable to play media" toast notification when I try to press play or shuffle button in offline music section. I've spent quite a lot of money for lifetime plex pass and I expect some good things from it. EVERYONE please refrain from buying plex pass until problems like this are fixed

- Prevent duplicate AirPlay targets being displayed
- Fix issue where SD card wasn't detected for some Lollipop devices
- Fix various issues when remotely flinging music to AirPlay targets
- Fix lyrics icon not being shown on mobile landscape or tablets
- Don't show Friends option for managed home users
